Hi, I'm in a high school photography class and I need a famous photographer to do a project over
Main Post:
Part of my project is to explain the photographer's style and to mimic it at the best of my ability.
Their style can't be anything along the lines of (I made this list since I live in a slightly rural area)
- urban city
- extreme nature
- naked stuff :(
Not a long list, but have looked through many different photographers and I feel very, very picky, since I do want it to stand out. So far I really like Ernst Haas's motion blur photography, but I'm very open to suggestions! Thank you!

Hi! I'll be moving to Hamilton, Canada for school next year and was hoping for some feedback from some locals

I've been given the option to attend school in Mohawk College or somewhere else. Any thoughts on Mohawk College? Will take up either Brain Disorders Management or Mental Health and Disability Management, are those any good for job prospects in the area too? What are the things to do in Hamilton? Any go to places? I wanna learn how to play hockey, where's the best place to go to? I'm a dude from asia and I've always been intrigued by the sport.
Edit: I love the kind responses from everyone so far and I'm honest when I say that I'm looking forward to being in Hamilton in the following year.

Mohawk College served me well. Found a job in Toronto but I'm in IT and that's where most are.
Hamilton Health Sciences is huge and well respected so potential for job is there post graduation,

The rest are not bad, but not good enough for art school, no.
That said, it's clear you have creativity. That's the most important ingredient. Some of what you're doing is very "teenager-y." I'm not trying to be mean, but you all tend to draw the same stuff: anime/ manga, creepy pasta, edgy stuff. It's not particularly new/creative/interesting. There are hundreds of thousands of kids drawing this stuff and trying to get into art school with it.
If you want to go to art school, you need to practice technique. And you need to do something unique - something that isn't just a pop-culture interest, but a piece of art that speaks to other people and connects with them. Usually, this is something that is personal, and also something that is a common human experience that touches people in some way.
You have the creativity, you just need the technique and bravery to make something new. And in a year or so, you will be ready to submit a good portfolio.

Hi /r/india, I was a student at School and University of Sathya Sai Baba of Puttaparti for more than a decade. Ask me anything you want to about the his empire, people close to him and how he was perceived by young impressionable people.

As the title says I will try to answer all the questions in some detail. I was there for a long time but I could never bring myself to see him as a god or have faith in any god at all. I do not claim to know everything about inner workings of his empire but over a long period of time I have seen and heard enough to be able to answer a majority of your questions.
Sai Baba is dead and I don't really have any special love for him beyond what I will have for any human being. So ask away.
